Product scope

Program reviewed: the futures EOD Performance Account and its payout rules. The brand also runs other account types and legacy accounts whose rules differ, and the pack notes a split between new and legacy products. Evaluation rules and drawdown limits were not read for this update. Verified facts are as of 2026-10-28.

Official rules, summarized

The help center lists five headline terms. Payouts can be requested up to weekly with a 100% split. At least five trading days must meet the minimum daily profit for the account size. The minimum payout is 500 dollars. A 50% consistency rule applies. Each Performance Account can receive at most six payouts. Approved payouts are issued at a 100% split, so you receive all of the approved amount. Eligibility still depends on account size, trading activity, balance thresholds and consistency, as set out in the sections below.

Qualifying days and minimum daily profit

A qualifying day is one that meets the minimum daily profit for the account: 100 dollars on a 25K account, 250 on 50K, 300 on 100K and 350 on 150K. The five days do not have to be consecutive, there is no deadline, and the days need not have equal profit. Only days that meet the minimum count. The earliest request is therefore after five qualifying days, which is what allows weekly payouts. A day with a smaller gain, even if profitable, does not move you closer.

The 50% consistency rule

No single profitable day may account for 50% or more of the total profit earned since the last approved payout. If it does, the request option is unavailable until the ratio falls below the limit. In practice, one large day has to be balanced by other profit before you can withdraw. An example: if your best day since the last payout made 1,500 dollars, total profit since then must exceed 3,000 dollars before the rule is satisfied. The firm has a separate article with full calculation examples, which should be read before trading toward a payout.

Safety net and minimum balance

The safety net is the account's drawdown limit plus 100 dollars, and it must be maintained for the life of the Performance Account. Only profit above it can be requested. The table shows the resulting levels: 26,100 on 25K, 52,100 on 50K, 103,100 on 100K and 154,100 on 150K. These figures imply drawdown limits of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 and 4,000 dollars on the four sizes. That is derived from the safety net definition here and was not read from a drawdown article, so confirm it on the firm's page. The minimum balance to request adds the 500 dollar minimum payout, for example 52,600 on the 50K account.

Payout structure and caps

Each request has a maximum that rises with the payout number and account size, as shown in the second table. On the 50K account the caps grow from 1,500 for the first payout to 3,000 for the sixth. On 150K they grow from 2,500 to 5,000. The 25K account is flat at 1,000. After six payouts the Performance Account is closed, whatever profit it holds, and a new one requires qualifying through another evaluation. Add the caps for your size to see the most a single account can pay over its life, and compare that figure with the evaluation cost.

Advantages

The payout rules are published in one article with tables, so a trader can model requests before paying. The 100% split on approved payouts is clear, and the five-day rule has no deadline. The minimum payout and safety net are stated numerically for every size.

Limitations and risks

The caps and the six-payout limit bound what an account can pay, regardless of profit. The 50% consistency rule can block a request after one large day, and the safety net means the first profits only rebuild the buffer. New and legacy accounts follow different rules, and the site runs time-limited promotions, so costs and terms need a dated check at purchase.

Testing a strategy against these limits

Replay your trades day by day. Count how many days net at least the minimum daily profit for your size. Check that your best day stays below half of total profit since the last payout, and that the balance clears the safety net plus the 500 dollar minimum. The drawdown tool can help with the arithmetic, and the guide on payout buffers explains why the first payouts are small relative to the account label. See the prop firm comparison hub for other firms.

Who might consider it?

A futures trader whose results are spread across many moderate winning days rather than a few large ones, and who accepts that payouts are capped and limited to six per account. The fee should be treated as expendable, not as an investment with a promised return.

Red flags to check before paying

Is the account you are buying a new EOD account or a legacy one? What are the drawdown and contract limits for your size? How many of your recent days would have met the minimum daily profit? Would one big day have blocked your last request under the 50% rule? What do the caps total over six payouts compared with the fee? Is your country eligible?

Important exception

Payouts require eligibility and review, and approved amounts are subject to the caps above. Do not read the 100% split as unlimited or automatic payment.

Bottom line

Do not choose from account size or the advertised split alone. Compare the effective risk budget, reset cost, rule complexity and reachable payouts under your own trading distribution. For Apex, the payout caps, the safety net and the consistency rule matter more than the headline 100% split.

How this was sourced

Added the captured payout-requirements table, per-payout caps, the safety net and consistency mechanics, derived drawdown sizes (labelled as derived), and Q&A. The pack's five qualifying days, 50% consistency, $500 minimum and six-payout limit were confirmed; drawdown and evaluation rules were not read and are not stated. Replaced the captured screenshot with an original QuantProp diagram because the right to publish the firm's image was not confirmed.
